OPA Employers Council Partnership
OPA offers a new membership and partner engagement option, the OPA Employers Council (OEC). The OEC gives employers the opportunity to work together with OPA to align strategies, resources, and advocacy efforts. As the leading advocacy organization for advancing the practice of pharmacy in Ohio, OPA represents Ohio’s pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in all practice settings, as well as pharmacy students in all seven Ohio colleges and schools of pharmacy.
OPA has created the OPA Employers Council, a forum for employer/industry and association thought leaders to convene and foster robust dialogue. Employers who utilize the services of pharmacists and technicians, participate in the drug supply chain, or manufacture medications are key stakeholders in implementing the laws and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy. Collaborating with key stakeholders, discussing where and how the OPA agenda overlaps with their agenda and working towards a shared vision will better align initiatives towards common objectives to move pharmacy forward.
