OPA has released “Medication Safety in the Geriatric Population,” a one-hour (0.1 CEU) home-study continuing pharmacy education (CPE) lesson that qualifies for State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy patient/medication safety CPE requirement. The cost is $10 for OPA members. Members must log in to the OPA website to view the member discount code, here. The cost for non-members is $30. This lesson is available 24/7 online with immediate feedback and automatic upload to the CPE Monitor through the OPA’s LecturePanda platform.

Ohio pharmacists must renew their licenses by September 15, 2023 and must attest to completion of the required 30 CPE credits, including 2 hours of patient/medication safety (ACPE -05) and 2 hours of jurisprudence or law (ACPE -03).
