Pharmacy Technician Seminar Follow-Up

Thank you for attending the Summer 2016 Technician Seminar! We hope you enjoyed the programming and we appreciate your feedback for future seminars. We are always welcoming topic suggestions for upcoming programs.

There has been some confusion among technicians needing to report continuing education hours to PTCB. To clarify, we do not report your hours to PTCB. You must do that on your own. OPF uploads your information to the CPE Monitor, but they do not transfer the information to PTCB. Please check the PTCB website for the process you must follow to recertify.

Unless you have been contacted by our office, your CE credit from the August 10 Pharmacy Technician Seminar has been uploaded to the CPE Monitor. Please check that the number of credit hours uploaded to the CPE monitor matches the number of hours you attended at the August program. To access your credit, go to NABP.net or click here to go straight to the login page. On your E-Profile homepage, go to the “CPE Monitor” to view your CPE Activity.

Additional home-study programming for pharmacy technicians can be found by going to OPA’s Rx CE OnDemand page on the OPA website.

Keep an eye on www.ohiopharmacists.org for future technician seminar dates.
