Marketing, Media, & Events Coordinator

The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) is seeking a self-motivated, highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing, Media, & Events Coordinator to lead the Association's marketing and communications efforts while coordinating sponsorships and supporting the planning and execution of conferences, educational programs, and member events.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing marketing with project management and event planning in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects while delivering exceptional results to members, sponsors, exhibitors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate exhibitor and sponsor recruitment, communications, registrations, and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.
  • Lead in planning and executing OPA's Annual Conference & Trade Show and other conferences, meetings, and educational programs.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for conferences, educational programs, membership initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
  • Manage the Association's marketing calendar and coordinate promotional timelines for multiple events and campaigns.
  • Create and distribute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and member communications.
  • Maintain and update website content, event pages, and digital communications, including social media.
  • Design brochures, signage, promotional materials, advertisements, and digital graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Coordinate print production and vendor relationships for marketing materials and event publications.
  • Maintain accurate marketing, sponsor, and event information within the association management system (iMIS).
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, sponsors, and external partners to support organizational goals.
  • Track marketing performance and recommend opportunities to increase engagement and participation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in marketing, communications, event planning, or project coordination.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred) and Canva.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, association management software (such as iMIS), website content management systems, and survey platforms is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Salary

Salary Range: $48,000 – $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience), with eligibility for a performance-based bonus opportunity

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
