The Ohio Innovative Practice Roundtables and Poster Session, sponsored by the Council of Ohio Colleges of Pharmacy, provide an opportunity for those performing research to share their findings and experiences with pharmacists throughout Ohio during the 148th OPA Annual Conference, April 9-11, 2026, at Hilton Columbus at Easton.

We invite pharmacists, residents, fellows, and students to submit their practice innovations. Effort will be made to honor preferences for innovative practice category submissions. However, the selection committee reserves the right to make the final determination of category for presentation (roundtable or poster). All presenters must be registered for the Annual Conference.
Innovative pharmacy practice models and services in Ohio will be showcased in the Innovative Practice Roundtables and Poster Session. Practitioners from a variety of practice sites are encouraged to apply to present how they have successfully adjusted workflow, tried something new, and/or implemented services as they overcame barriers to offer patient-centered care and services and improve patient access to pharmacist-provided care. We invite practitioners to present 8-10 minute roundtable presentations focused a patient care innovation. Audience participants will gain ideas and engage in discussion with the presenter and other roundtable attendees to enhance their own practices.
To submit your Innovative Practice abstract for consideration in the Innovative Practice Roundtable or Poster Session, please use this link: Innovative Practice Abstract Submission Form. There will be up to six innovative practices chosen for the CPE roundtable presentations. Remaining abstracts accepted will be presented as part of the Poster Session.
Friday, January 23, 2026 is the deadline to submit. Notification of acceptance and presentation format/time will be sent via email to the primary author 4-6 weeks prior to the presentation.
